With Jon’s law practice focused on real estate, foreclosures and bankruptcy,  he is a great resource in all transactions, and especially when it comes to working with clients who need assistance buying or selling distressed properties (short sales, facing foreclosure, or bank-owned properties).  Jon is also a Certified Distressed Property Expert – CDPE.

In addition to Real Estate, Jon’s calendar is sprinkled with activities in which he shares his passion.  

Soccer - Through the Bridlemile Soccer Club, Jon has been involved in all levels of soccer, from coaching his two daughters’ soccer teams for seven years to serving as President of the Club for four years.  Jon remains on the Board of Directors and manages the Recreational Soccer Program.  Jon takes great pride in teaching young players to love the game of soccer, to work as a team, and to have fun learning.  So, while most of the time his attire matches his professional expectations, you may occasionally catch him dressed for the soccer pitch.  

Local Schools – Jon is involved with many activities at his daughters’ schools.  In addition to helping in the classroom over the years and volunteering for various school activities, Jon has served as a member of the Bridlemile School Foundation Board of Directors helping to raise funds for our local elementary school.  Jon continues to advocate for quality public school education throughout Oregon and serves as a Co-Chair of the Lincoln High School Local School Advisory Committee.  Jon also contributes time to the Classroom Law project, opening the local court system to classes through the local school community.

University of Colorado – Jon serves as the President of the Portland Chapter of the University of Colorado Alumni Association, helping to bring together local area alumni in an effort to keep people connected to the University through social and business networking events.  The local Chapter also raises funds to provide scholarships to students from Oregon and SW Washington attending the University of Colorado.
