The heart of the Multnomah neighborhood is Multnomah Village, a commercial area with a small-town feel. The Village has several excellent restaurants, unique gift and antique shops, art galleries, coffee shops and cafes, an independent book store and music store, and several other eclectic establishments, as well as a popular community center. Well-attended events include the Holiday Gala, Multnomah Days, and monthly “First Fridays in the Village.” Just off I-5 and only minutes from downtown Portland, the Multnomah neighborhood is popular with those seeking a close-knit community near town.
