West Portland Park Neighborhood At A Glance

West Portland Park is a neighborhood in Southwest Portland bordered by Crestwood and Far Southwest to the west, Multnomah to the North, Markham and Arnold Creek to the East, and the city of Lake Oswego to the South.  The northern part of the neighborhood is called Capitol Hill site of the Capitol Hill Library, the Islamic Center of Portland, the Portland Rizwan Mosque and the Islamic School of Portland.  West Portland Park has a population of approximately 3775 with a 52% home ownership rate. The majority of the homes were built between the 1950's and 80's with a few older homes and condo's present. The neighborhood is less than 20 minutes from downtown Portland and has easy access to business and shopping districts both on Capitol Hill and Lake Oswego. It is also close to the Portland Community College Sylvania Campus.

• West Portland Park Natural Area - 14.67 acres natural area.
• Holly Farm Park - 1.72 acres includes disabled access play area, paths – paved, picnic tables, playground, and skatepark. 
• Portland Golf Club - A private 18 hole course enjoyable for players of all levels of abilities. PGC's membership is comprised of business, civic, athletic and social leaders who value the ability to congregate in this very unique setting.
• Redtail Golf Course - A 18 hole course open to the public, newly renovated and upgraded to championship status, is a challenge for golfers of all levels. Rolling hills, picturesque water hazards and tree-lined fairways greet you on this easily walked, player-friendly course. Featuring four sets of tees from 5601 to 7107 yards from the back tees. RedTail holds a course rating of 74.4 and a slope of 136. They have 45 bunkers and six lakes which come into play on ten holes.
