The Portland Office of Neighborhood Involvement contracts with seven nonprofit neighborhood coalitions to assist citizens and Portland's ninety-five neighborhood associations with community organization and information gathering and distribution within geographically defined areas. All neighborhood associations and coalitions are listed below, starting in SW Portland and continuing clockwise around the city:
