4th of July Fireworks In & Around Portland

You won’t want to miss out on any of the festivities this year. Starting this week, fireworks, parades and rodeos kick off Independence Day in the Portland area with the biggest and best saved for the Fourth on Wednesday. Here’s our list. Let us know what we missed.

Oregon Coast

  • The Northern Oregon Coast is getting ready for the 4th of July with many events planned this year! For a complete list visit www.beachconnection.net

Portland/Vancouver Metro Area

  • Waterfront Blues Festival, July 2th – 5th, fireworks July 4th at 10:00pm – The largest Blues festival on the west coast and 2nd largest in the nation benefits the Oregon Food Bank. www.waterfrontbluesfest.com
  • Fort Vancouver – The biggest fireworks show west of the Mississippi. Prime Viewing ticket holders can enjoy all the activities the site has to offer throughout the day and then retreat to the exclusive Keiwit Prime Viewing area, where hey will be treated to a tasty 4th of July picnic dinner, an exclusive entertainment stage and front row seats to the spectacular fireworks show. Gates Open at 8:00 am, entertainment starts at noon, fireworks at 10:05 pm in Pearson Field. www.fortvan.org
  • Oaks Park – The park opens at 10:00 am, rides start at noon, fireworks at dusk. www.oakspark.com
  • Estacada – Carnival starts July 3rd. Parade starts at noon on the 4th, fireworks at 10:00 pm on the 4th and the 6th. For full events schedule, visit cityofestacada.org
  • Lake Oswego – A family celebration, including a parade, music, face painting and BBQ in downtown Lake Oswego. www.ci.oswego.or.us
  • Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo – Juyly 1st – July 4th. Fireworks at 8:00pm each evening! Plus a giant street parade July 4th at 9:30 am. www.molallabuckeroo.com
  • St Paul Rodeo,June 29th- 4th – Best rodeo in the Portland Metro area! Carnivals, Youth Rodeo, Wild West Art Show and BBQ Cook-Off are just some of the fun events in store. Fireworks at 8:00pm July 3rd & 4th! www.stpaulrodeo.com
  • Tigard High School – Festivities start at 6pm July 4th with Parades, clowns, live music, kid’s games, police and fire vehicles, with fireworks at dusk. www.tigard-or.gov
  • Vernonia – Fireworks at Greenman Field July 4th at Dusk
  • Corbett Fun Fest – Largest community sponsored show in Oregon and third largest display in Portland area. Entertainment starts at 12:45pm, fireworks at dusk. www.corbettfunfest.com
